A little bit about this fellowship from the NSF website:

"The purpose of the [fellowship] is to ensure the quality, vitality, and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States. GRFP seeks to broaden participation in science and engineering of underrepresented groups, including women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and veterans. The five-year fellowship provides three years of financial support inclusive of an annual stipend of $37,000."

Jennifer will use this award to continue pursuing her research which considers how discrimination is enacted via social media, the dynamic temporal associations between psychological responses to discrimination and psychosocial outcomes in daily life, and the factors that shape these processes in similar and unique ways among Latino/x emerging adults.

Congratulations Jen! We're so proud of you!
